FOR 2010!
Artie Shaw Orchestra

|
Some of the most popular and
recognized songs of all time were recorded
by Artie Shaw and his band in the 1930’s,
40’s and 50’s. Popular hits such as
Stardust, Begin the Beguine and Moonglow are
now staples of the American Songbook.
Although Artie passed away in 2005, his
clarinet virtuosity is now carried on by his
successor, band leader Rich Chiaraluce.
Along with some of the finest
instrumentalists in the world, the Artie
Shaw Orchestra continues to play the
authentic, original arrangements that
defined that distinctive “Artie Shaw” sound.
Currently, the Artie Shaw Orchestra is one
of the best of the big bands remaining from
the glorious swing era and continues to tour
the world, thrilling big band aficionados
and swing dancers alike.
