Dixie is a Dixieland band that was born out of a group
formed in 1983 by college friends looking to have a good
time while playing their instruments. Over the years the
personnel has changed, but the goal remains the same.

is the creation of Darryl Hicks. Darryl
had previously performed with many bands including
Firehouse and the Fantastic Convertibles. In 2005, a jam
session at Ebeneezer’s lead to the creation of a house
band. Band members include: Darryl Hicks, Mike Neff,
vocalist Larry Mann, Saxophone and vocals
Daryl Hicks-Bass, Mike Neff-guitar John Spitzer, and
pianist Bob Thomas. Soulshine can be heard every
Thurdsay and Friday at Ebeneezer’s.
